The support was formalized through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the Capital City, the Secretariat for Competitiveness, and BI Communication, as well as a Donation Agreement between the Secretariat for Entrepreneurship and Investments and BI Communication.

“This support enables an additional 50 companies from Podgorica to receive the ŽIG ŽENSKI BIZNIS, expanding the network of visible and recognized women-led businesses in the capital. This is an important step toward affirming women who, through their work, contribute to economic development and changing business culture,” stated Ljiljana Burzan Nikolić, Executive Director of BI Communication.

“The ŽIG ŽENSKI BIZNIS project aligns with our goals to create an inclusive business environment and provide support to those who inspire others through their example. We believe this agreement will further strengthen the position of women in business and affirm Podgorica as a city of equal opportunities,” said Deputy Mayor Nadja Ljiljanić. Head of the Secretariat for Competitiveness, Marija Šuković, highlighted that the project’s special value lies in promoting economic empowerment of women, and thus gender equality. “I believe that through the joint efforts of all partners, this project will bring concrete results and further improve the position of women in the business environment,” Šuković emphasized.
