Top Women Business Montenegro (TWBM) is a platform that systematically recognizes, ranks, and promotes women’s businesses, not as an exception, but as a strategic force within Montenegro’s economy. It is a space where data, recognition, and women’s leadership come together in a community that transforms business culture.
When we launched Top Women Business Montenegro, we started with the belief that women in business deserve more than just space, they deserve recognition, influence, and equal rules.
Today, a few years later, TWBM has grown into a nationally and regionally recognized platform that systematically promotes women’s businesses in Montenegro.
Our initial vision was to build a mechanism that values the effort, knowledge, and achievements of women in the economy. Today, TWBM ranks over 400 women-led businesses annually, publishes reports that follow their progress, and brings together a community that continues to grow in number, strength, and impact.
The Top Women Business Montenegro Awards are a recognition and a tool for transforming business culture.
Since 2021, the TWBM Awards ranking process has identified and evaluated women-owned and women-led businesses across Montenegro. Enterprises are classified by size in accordance with internationally recognized IWA 34 guidelines, which form the basis for their identification and assessment.
The ranking criteria include financial indicators, business continuity, ownership structure, and the gender composition of leadership, making TWBM a unique tool for mapping and increasing the visibility of women in business.
The criteria are transparent, the evaluation process is analytical, and the results serve as a barometer of women’s entrepreneurship in Montenegro.
We believe that by sharing knowledge, networks, and opportunities we shape the future.
Through TWBM panels, dialogues, trainings, and networking events, women have shared more than business stories: they have shared visions, dilemmas, advice, and partnerships.
Today, the TWBM community is a bridge between sectors, generations, and leadership styles.
We don’t just share advice — we share space for growth.
The TWBM Business Magazine is an annual snapshot of the most important stories, analyses, and insights on women’s entrepreneurship in Montenegro.
Each issue features:
The magazine is available in both print and digital formats, distributed through a network of partners, and also shared on request.
Women in the business community deserve space, influence, and a voice—their place must be unquestionable, equal, and visible. We cannot simply copy business culture; we must rewrite it from the ground up.
